Unity Home Care’s continuing education training provides foster parents, caregivers, staff, and family support teams with practical knowledge and skills for delivering safe, respectful, and person-centered care. Participants will learn about trauma-informed communication, abuse and neglect prevention, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs, maintaining safe homes, strengthening routines, and collaborating with families and service providers. After completing the required lessons and post-test, participants will receive verified continuing education/contact hours. Certificates will include the participant’s name, course title, completion date, verified hours, Unity Home Care’s name, and a unique certificate number. Training hours are currently labeled as contact or continuing education hours unless Unity Home Care confirms authorization to award CEUs.
