This course is for families, caregivers, and direct-care staff supporting children, adults, older adults, and individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health needs across Cumberland and surrounding counties. Through practical guidance and real-life scenarios, you’ll learn how to communicate with compassion, protect privacy, support independence, and partner effectively with Unity Home Care and community resources. By the end, participants will be able to apply dignity-focused care practices, recognize red flags, and use consistent approaches that improve trust, comfort, and outcomes for loved ones and the people who support them.
